(Founding) Business Development Manager

About the Opportunity

I'm working with a fast-growing AI startup based in central Amsterdam that builds real-world conversational AI experiences for the entertainment, attractions, and commerce sectors.

Their platform is already live in production environments and used by thousands of visitors every day.

The company is now looking to hire a Business Development Manager to support and scale its go-to-market efforts during a key growth phase.

This is an entry-level to early-career commercial role with significant learning and earning potential, working closely with senior leadership in a high-impact startup environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities and supporting the commercial pipeline.

Key responsibilities include:

• Proactively generating and qualifying leads using CRM and modern GTM tools
• Conducting outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
• Booking meetings and supporting deal progression through the pipeline
• Researching target accounts within entertainment, attractions, and events
• Testing and refining outreach messaging and GTM experiments
• Maintaining accurate CRM data and pipeline reporting

This role suits someone ambitious, resilient, and commercially driven, who enjoys working towards targets and learning through hands-on experience.

Key requirements:

• Fluent Dutch and strong English communication skills
• Confidence with outbound sales activity and follow-ups
• Motivation to earn commission and be rewarded for performance
• Comfort working with KPIs, targets, and structured pipelines
• Interest in AI, SaaS, or technology-driven products
• 0–2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or a similar commercial role

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
• Exposure to ticketing, events, attractions, or entertainment industries
