Java Developer (Contractor)

Initial 4 Months (Extension highly likely.

Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput Java applications.
• Collaborate with external teams to integrate newly developed features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning to testing and deployment.

Things that will make you stand out:

• 8+ years of experience in developing large-scale Java systems.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with message-based systems, AMQP in particular.
• Experience creating and optimizing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud-based datastores and databases.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
