Senior Software Engineer

I'm hiring for a fast growing legal AI company in New York. Hundreds of law firms use their product, and some of the biggest AI companies in the world rely on their data. Revenue has grown 10x in the last few months.

You'd be helping build one of the most comprehensive legal datasets in the US, which powers both their AI platform for lawyers and their data business.

What you'd work on:

• Pipelines that enrich legal documents with metadata, work competitors still pay humans hundreds of dollars an hour to do
• Making hundreds of web scrapers reliable and accurate
• Core logic like citation extraction and resolution
• Exposing data through APIs, MCPs and websockets
• Benchmarking and evaluating core tasks

What they're looking for:

• A technical generalist, strong across the backend (full stack a bonus)
• Comfortable with data pipelines and basic to intermediate infra and devops
• Python and SQL at the core Able to stand up your own projects end to end on your preferred infra A preference for simple solutions to complex problems

Interest in stats, ML or AI is a bonus, not a requirement Stack includes Python, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Playwright and GCP.
