Back End Developer

An established technology consultancy operating within the financial services sector is seeking a Back-end Developer to support the delivery of modern digital platforms used across areas such as pensions, mortgages, lending, insurance, and public-sector financial services.

The organisation delivers high-quality software solutions for major financial institutions and operates within highly regulated environments handling sensitive financial data. As a result, engineering quality, scalability, reliability, and security are central to the role.

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, business-critical systems while contributing to performance optimisation, engineering best practices, and the adoption of modern technologies.

Required experience and skills include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Approximately 3–8+ years of software development experience
• Experience with C# and .NET Core
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git and Git-based workflows

Additional experience with cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and database technologies would be advantageous.
