We're partnering with an established and fast-growing Data & AI consultancy that helps organisations unlock the value of their data through modern cloud platforms and engineering best practices.

As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a Data Engineer to join a collaborative team delivering innovative data solutions across a variety of industries. You'll work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, helping clients design, build and optimise scalable data platforms that support analytics, AI and business-critical decision making.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and building scalable cloud-based data platforms
• Developing and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines
• Working with large datasets to support analytics and AI initiatives
• Collaborating with clients to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions
• Applying software engineering best practices, including version control, testing and CI/CD
• Optimising data models and pipeline performance
• Contributing to technical discussions and sharing knowledge within the team

What We're Looking For

• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or BigQuery
• Building production-grade data pipelines
• Data modelling and performance optimisation
• Git and CI/CD practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with dbt
• Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric Pipelines
• Apache Spark / PySpark
• Azure cloud experience
• Consultancy or client-facing project delivery experience
