React Native Engineer

Location: London, hybrid 3 to 4 days per week

Salary: £65,000 to £70,000

Oakwell Hampton are excited to be partnered with this company who are building practical AI products for enterprise.

The opportunity

You will help build a new React Native UI layer on top of an enterprise AI assistant already used daily. This goes beyond chat. Think agent driven workflows that present the right control at the right moment. Your work will shape new mobile interaction patterns for LLM and agent use cases.

What you will do

• Design and build React Native features for an enterprise AI product
• Collaborate with product and design to iterate quickly on UX
• Own delivery end to end from API integration to performance and testing
• Present your work, explain trade offs and make small live changes during reviews
• Raise the bar through good practices and mentoring

What you will bring

• Strong React Native experience, productive in RN from day one
• Solid engineering fundamentals and Computer Science grounding
• Experience with mobile navigation, performance, offline patterns and testing
• Clear communication and a preference for direct collaboration over heavy process
• Curiosity about modern consumer app UX and interaction design

Nice to have

• TypeScript, state management (Redux, Zustand or MobX), animations and gestures
• Experience with AI products, agent workflows or complex API driven UIs
